Scott is a godsend!  From the moment I walked into the door he has been the most caring, compassionate, non-judgmental and empathetic therapist.  Through his expertise and depth of knowledge he has been able to walk me through my journey of healing and has been by my side through all the highs and lows.  No words can ever fully articulate just how grateful that I am for what he has been able to do for me.  If you or someone that you know is ever in need of help or counseling, I highly recommend him!

Scott Forsmith was recommended to me at a time when I was buffeted by multiple life changing hardships.  Our visits routinely begin with a chance for me to recap what's been happening.  They end with his comments regarding my issues. This serves two extremely critical purposes.  First, I really need someone appropriate to talk to who is outside of my situation, yet is qualified to speak to it.  Secondly, I need perspective.  Our appointments fully and effectively accomplish both of these objectives. Sometimes Scott prescribes homework.  These written exercises allow me to get my thoughts and emotions outside of myself so they can be evaluated.  The work is productive as it gives me a chance to think introspectively at my own pace.  As a professional, trained counselor, Scott is in a position to review it and offer insights, which are on point and very, very helpful.

In all of this, I feel heard, understood, accurately assessed and guided in my thinking and actions.  Scott adds important information to my situation every time.  I walk away relieved and carrying new information.  He is a man of tremendous expertise who can untangle my emotional and mental distress.  His input directs me toward relief.  This help is invaluable to me and has been a deciding factor in my survival and growth through these difficult years.
