About me
Graduate of Stony Brook University, School of Social Welfare, currently licensed in the State of New York as a LCSW. Additionally, holds the “R” privilege. Scott is a professional supervisor in the social work field. He attended North Central University and the University of Minnesota to earn a bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Sciences and additionally attended two years of Bible institute.
Scott's career includes implementing a therapeutic foster care program on Long Island. In that setting he developed lasting proficiencies in Parent Skills Training, Family Therapy, and work with trauma victims and survivors.
His professional path also includes six years in the administration in the assisted living industry on Long Island in new business development and protocols for the elders and dementia care. This led to opportunities with Alzheimer and dementia care programs, developing their social work teams, caregiver support group leaders and providing direct care to caregivers.
Scott has served as a therapist on post abortion recovery weekends. He is a coordinator for Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University and a facilitator for GriefShare.
He is an active member of the American Association of Christian Counselors since 1994.
